Retrospective time. This brand are all over Amazon with tonnes of 5* reviews. Many YT channels rave about them too. I’ve reviewed a couple (and played a couple more). I just really don’t think they shine much at all.

Retrospective time - one of the real joys of doing Got A Ukulele was connecting with skilled local builders who were not on the ‘corporate’ model.

Matthieu at Caravelle Kitchen was one of those. A VERY talented builder!

Wht was illuminating was the amount of people who then emailed me to tell me of their ukes not being fit for purpose either.

With the retrospectives i've been sharing, i've naturally erred towards the ones I remember favourably.

Then, of course, there are brands that have never done that well on ANY review. I love Fender. Not so much their ukes
