On the irruption of #Threads of #Meta in the #Fediverse and #Fediblock I have my two cents too.

I too had my own #XMPP server back in the day and federated with #Google and their #GoogleTalk and saw first hand when they unilaterally broke the federation and all my friends stayed there. I ended up so burnt out that I didn't host or manage a server again until this year with #Mastodon.

Yo también tuve mi propio servidor #XMPP en su día y me federé con #Google y su #GoogleTalk y vi de primera mano cuando rompieron unilateralmente la federación y todos mis amigos se quedaron allí. Acabé tan quemado que no volví a alojar ni administrar un servidor hasta este año con #Mastodon.

Pare che finalmente l'Europa voglia aprire i sistemi di #messaggistica.
Sarà possibile usare #matrix per mandare un messaggio a qualcuno su #Whatsapp?
