I wrote down my Google I/O 26 notes from an Android/product engineering lens.
The main signal for me: AI is moving from side tooling into the product surface itself.
On Android, that means thinking about on-device models, cloud fallback, hybrid inference, structured output, and where human judgement stays in the loop.

Here's the archive of today's #edtechSR Episode 375 from tonight with @neif & @wesfryer

Google Search at I/O just went from pull to push. 🔍
Two updates worth knowing:
The Search box now helps you formulate your query — AI suggestions, multi-modal input (text + image + file)
Search agents that monitor topics 24/7 and notify you when something happens — with a link to act
Search isn't a search bar anymore. It's a background process.
