#Goodfellas ist für mich nicht gut gealtert. Klar ist der toll inszeniert und hat eine grandiose Kamera-Arbeit und hat wohl das Genre des "coolen Gangsterfilms" begründet. Aber ich hatte bei dieser Zweitsichtung dieselben Probleme wie bei den meisten Biopics: Scorsese erzählt 30 Jahre in fast 2,5 Stunden und ist dabei so oberflächlich in der Figurenzeichnung und unkonzentriert in der Dramaturgie, dass er mich nach dem mitreißenden ersten Drittel immer stärker gelangweilt hat.

Really interesting article on the history of Goodfellas, but one of the wildest bits: the author of the book it's based on, Nick Pileggi, was married to Nora Ephron, who in turn wrote My Blue Heaven, which is also based on Henry Hill and also came out in 1990!
