Severe Thunderstorm warning just issued for Inland VI. Some serious lightning and storm activity in Strathcona Park and Gold River areas west of Mt Washington.

Not likely to impact Port Alberni but might cause some wildfire activity on the North Island.

Possible strong winds this afternoon and evening for Inland Vancouver Island.

I suspect the strongest winds will be in #GoldRiver  and Tahsis as the low pressure centre is headed just north of the tip of Vancouver island but it will probably be gusty in #PortAlberni  as well.

Might want to bring in those new Canada 🇨🇦 flags for the night!
