Martin Luther, Lutheran pastor, writes on “Blessed are the Meek”. The arrogant who will suffer nothing and impose on others are rebuked. Those wanting to hold on to property in peace must be meek. To overlook little slights and suffer as much as you can.

Modern conservative teaching is the exact opposite. In order to have peace you must proactively bonk the bad guys on the nose, to “send a message.”
