GOGBOT 2024 - Volunteer Form
The 21st edition of GOGBOT takes place from September 12 - 15 in Enschede. It's time for your four favourite days of the year again, filled with the maddest tec art & music. Let's gooo! This year's theme is 'Atom Smasher', an ode to the both inspiring and world-ending scary potential of technology, and a metaphor for the extreme opposing forces in society that seem to be colliding harder than ever before. Expect art exhibitions filled with cool artworks by both famous and upcoming artist, two gigantic light and sound installations and lots of teccy music on the mainstage on the Oude Markt. For the complete program visit www.gogbot.nl and spread the news to your friends and frenemies ;-) We are looking for volunteers for the festival because without your help a wayward festival like GOGBOT simply cannot exist. If you are interested in helping out, please read the information below and fill in the questions. We promise you won't regret it :D SUMMARY What: Volunteering for GOGBOT Festival! When: 12 - 15 September 2024 Where: Oude Markt in Enschede, The Netherlands VOLUNTEERING Volunteers generally sign up for 3 shifts (1 shift is 4 hours + 30min for preparing and going to your shift). Of course you can sign up for more than 3 shifts :) For your help we will give you this year's GOGBOT T-shirt, food and beer/drink vouchers and free access to the afterparty on Saturday at Metropool (address: Willem Wilminkplein 2, 7511 PG Enschede). During your shift snacks and drinks will be provided for you. And you'll work together with other awesome people! On Sunday, after breaking down the festival, we'll obviously eat pizza and drink beer to celebrate! ROLES - Information desk (informing visitors about the program and the content and locations of the festival) - Attendant (taking care of art works, supporting artists when needed, informing visitors, cleaning up the areas) - Runner (you help the location manager to solve little issues and replace missing volunteers) The festival is only possible with your help and support! Every year we have many people from previous GOGBOT editions coming back to help us again, but we are always very happy to have new people joining our team! Zijn laatste als artistiek directeur. En dus is De Groot ook ’s ochtends bezig met het laatste regelwerk voor zijn kindje.
