Thomas Gouge, Puritan minister, writes on the rich man in hell (Luke 16:19-31). If his crime was not giving of his bread to feed the poor, then what of those who have taken bread from the poor. Gouge claims some in his day drink this sin like water.

Never happens today, though, based on the near-zero number of Puritan scholars who are harping on this topic, right?
