I can't eat honey myself "on account of the #gout " But this stuff doesn't have any of the same issues related to honey from bees.
The kids like it, and I'll eat it, so it's a winner.

Your mother needs to see a doctor and get the right treatment for her very serious condition. It'll give her her life back. It did for me!
OK Fediverse, I have had 3 gout attacks in my life, 1 about 3 years ago, 2 in the last 3 months. Itβs bloody miserable and colchicine is a horrible drug.
Allopurinol sounds risky too.
As a gout newbie is anybody having success with lifestyle changes to manage attacks ? I donβt eat red meat or shellfish. Occasional beer or red wine.
Uric acid was 7.8 mg/dL Doc says below 6 is advisable.
Any recommendations on books or references ?
