In other news, I may have just put in a massive take out order at my local Indian that could feed three people. I live alone. Well, not if you count the cats.
I've found an aid for time blindness. Kind of.
I have one of those cube timers, and I always set it for 60 minutes. It's a little bit like having a cuckoo clock, only with more control.
The problem is, I am now acutely aware of how much time I waste getting distracted, and using distraction avoidance apps DO NOT WORK, I just mindlessly bypass the damn things.
Getting real tired of the brain chaos volume turning all the way up to 1000 whenever I break through writer's block.
It's like... Can we focus on running with this breakthrough instead of worrying about how mavity works and whether or not Noah's son gave birth to Britain? (That last one is a real connection made by Geoffery Ashe in my current read "Mythology of the British Isles").

On #writing: Speaking of "fluff," I was getting an MRI today, and to pass the time, and to avoid looking at the laser they put DIRECTLY where you would naturally look, I closed my eyes and worked through a block I have on my current #doctorwho AU fanfic WIP.
