Good news: Logically the $100 Laserwriter Plus is on the network and totally fine to talk to my Macs.
Bad News: there is a mechanical issue feeding- it clicks to draw the paper in but then pauses and goes Red Led. Time to open it up for more #marchintosh #globalPrint madness....
Oh, so my script has been ignoring bluesky for the past few days- i wondered why only ever 1 posting was there. There was a massive post that was confabulating the script. The MDNs are back to combined feeds now- you can see the M or B in the compressed feed prints if you get them.
I just got a thing, looks to be in very good shape was printing just 2 years ago from a windows machine.... These are heavier than I recall them lol.
I have conquered UTF8 and forced it to revert back to proper 1990s encodings. The next issue of MDN will be much cleaner. I also may do a version for mastodon, it will however be larger.
