When I first laid out this chat window I seriously thought to myself “I need to figure out how to hide the scroll bar in the List Manager since that user list scroll bar will never be needed and is just taking up space”. But here we are with nearly 20 users online!
All with no timeouts or any lag. I think with the HyperCard version last year we peaked at like… 5?.. users and it was completely falling apart.
Day 2 is over and there’s been a bunch more activity!
Are the Windows users taking over? Will the Mac fight back!?? Stay tuned on #GlobalTalk …
TalkCrawler Lite 1.2 is now available, adding filters to narrow down to only show printers/shares you haven’t checked off yet, and a “news report” after each re-scan of what new items were found.

I’m afraid I’m going to have to pause my greets and prints thank you catchup megathread – each message is taking about 5 minutes to craft between tagging, alt text, grabbing the images, etc.
I’ll attack it in the coming days.
I received a purported 1994 message from John Sculley to Apple Evangelists next. Rather disappointingly (?) the promised portrait of John failed to materialise.
As I don’t have John’s Mastodon handle, this message will also have to be celebrated without the sender’s awareness.
