We did some quality assurance for the Glenroy dog park about to open.

They left enough gap that we might be able to squeeze under the entrance gates of the small dog area. They should get the people that do the fences around soccer pitches as they don’t usually have gaps under the fence for small dogs to escape.

We dont think Council like disabled dog carers either. Those pull up latches are mounted 1.6 metres high. They require two hands to operate the mechanism and open the gate. It must suck to be a wheelchair bound dog carer.

Glad the gates to small dog area were unlocked. We got to run around to do our inspection, leave some peemails and one 💩 which Dad picked up and disposed of in the bin.🐶🐶

We got to join a facilitated tour of Box Forest flood retarding basin in Glenroy with Melbourne Water. Plans for opening this for public access and converting concrete channel of Merlynston creek to a series of wetland ponds. Will be great for #walkies when complete in 2-5 years time.
