Wir kritisieren deren indirekte #Laienwerbung für #Impfstoff gegen #Gürtelrose und rügen das Unternehmen, mit emotionalisierenden Kampagnen Ängste zu schüren, und so die Nachfrage nach dem Impfstoff zu steigern.

MEZIS fordert eine gesetzliche Nachschärfung des #Heilmittelwerbegesetzes zum besseren Schutz vor #Einflussnahme im #Gesundheitswesen.

#Drug Mfgr #GSK has reached $2.2bn #legalsettlement in US that is supposed to cover 93% of user cases brought thus far.

Previously #GlaxoSmithKline had paid $70m to settle with the lab that discovered the issue, and other big #drugmakers that also marketed the #OTC drug, including #Pfizer and #Sanofi, have already reached sizable settlements.
