Goose Pond stumptown skate, last week. The dam is being repaired, so there’s only about a foot of water under the ice, exposing all kinds of interesting objects, including this grove of stumps.

I’ve been trying to figure out how to get a skates’ eye view for a while now, finally getting close. This is not sped up, and I’m not skating quickly; it’s the low angle perspective that makes it seem fast.

Got distracted for a minute, back now. Moody day on Winnipesaukee yesterday, no views of Agiocochook, but lots of great ice. The Gunstock trails are visible here; in the evening I could see the lights of the groomers working their way up the mountain. Skate day twenty-six.
