Having to watch what is happening across numerous #forgejo sites is not so simple. Tried #gitnex, but it wasn't smooth enough. Email notifications don't work for me (psychological; too much noise on the channel). Recently, I found #ntfy to be a wonderfull, self-hostable tool that can easily (also) cover this use case. I wrote a small helper that runs via a cronjob and posts notifications. Now I see what is happening across 8 sites in one channel.
I need Codeberg projects to work as nicely as Github projects.
That means getting two features:
1. being able to create an issue directly inside a column. The new issue thing takes me out of the project page.
2. Android app access. I can quickly see what I'm up to on any project on Github android app by going to the project Kanban thing. GitNex is wonderful and seems to be the closest thing to the Github android app, but there's no project viewing feature.
If I get those two, I can literally get out of Github before 2026

I think it would be better if Forgejo / Codeberg (also) provided a QR code for generated access-tokens hexadecimal string.
Generating an access-token on your laptop, and then — manually typing in that (access-token) hexadecimal string into your phone is error-prone and tedious.
A QR code that you could scan from your mobile phone would help reduce that error and tedium.
