E Gian Gasperini, secondo il cileno, resta la guida giusta: «La Roma ha un grandissimo allenatore e deve tenerselo stretto. Ha fatto un ottimo lavoro in passato e anche in questa stagione. La sua esperienza sarà fondamentale per superare questo momento difficile». Pizarro, poi, si è soffermato sul derby europeo perso dalla squadra giallorossa: «È stata un'eliminazione inaspettata, anche perché il Bologna non sta facendo bene in campionato. Ero molto fiducioso per il passaggio del turno. I tifosi della Roma hanno dimostrato ancora una volta di essere tra i migliori d'Italia».
