#Día5 | Comparaciones – Experimental | #30DayChartChallenge.
I started playing around with all the #ggdist colour features (there are so many), and I think I'm losing the plot (pun intended!) 😵‍💫

Merry Distmas! A new version of
#ggdist
(3.3.2) just hit CRAN
#rstats

The main impetus of the update is minor fixes to support
#ggplot2
3.5.0, but there are a few things worth mentioning... 1/5

Here's an example of #ggblend with #ggdist: ggdist can create gradient lineribbons using color ramps, but can have problems when they overlap

ggblend can partition a geometry and blend those partitions: e.g. using "multiply" to blend overlapping lineribbons together

#ggdist 3.3.0 just hit CRAN! Some highlights:

1. A big change is the new default density estimator, which detects bounded distributions; see linked post: https://fediscience.org/@mjskay/110359116199194043

This also means Mode() and hdi(), which use the density estimator, should be better too.
