I have come across gentle dom/soft dom as terms but it still seems to involve a lot of roleplay and associations I don't think I'm into.
But I do think I'd like someone to take control and lead so I don't have to decide what comes next all the time, I don't have to set the pace and don't have to think about/guess as much how to make a partner feel good because they tell me how to touch and do stuff. Just respectful and loving interaction but giving up the lead and mental load.
Also no a bottom which is often the more passive role as I understand it.
Also in context of being inexperienced and very insecure.

Is there other terms I'm not aware of? Where to find stuff about that? it seems hard to google. #getfedihelp #fedihelp #kink

A while back, I tried adding peertube.tv to the Framasoft PeerTube app and got the error about the URL not working (it’s an older version of the PeerTube software).

Now I’m using my own instance on the bleeding edge 8.0.0 release and I get the error “This version of the platform is too old.”

I’m assuming it’s too new (I hope), but wondering if anybody has insights. Thanks.

Mastodon, I need help.

I teach English as a foreign language at the Access to University level in a Spanish high school.That's kind of B1. The exam has changed recently and the reading texts are much longer. My "archive" of old exams is now not as useful.

I have two colleagues who want to work longer texts on TRENDY topics. Of course, they want texts about #GenAI. They like it. I don't.

Please, can you recommend me texts that are:
* From legitimate sources (the press; stuff like The Guardian or USA equivalent is good)
* Easy to read or easy to adapt. We're talking 17 year olds and my summaries will be 350-500 words long. Nothing too technical.
* About data centers and environmental impact; LLM use and cognitive decline; privacy breaches; anything else that is negative.
* Texts about banned books, cancel culture, negative impact of excessive discipline in the classroom, racism, are also welcome. But I really want to have good texts on AI before my colleagues find the praises of some billionaire.

I have an apple intel running maverick that needs to be backed up. This is a enterprise machine, I have admin/root but I'm not the enterprise IT.

It's got a recent Time Machine backup but I would like to (ideally) store another backup in the cloud or create an image and write it to an external disc.

My mac skills are very out of date, but I dual-boot win/linux and know my way around bsd

What are my options? Google is useless.

eine Freundin von mir wird Ende des Monats, also in 2 Tagen, aus ihrer Wohnung geschmissen und sucht DRINGEND eine Zwischenunterkunft bis sie eine neue Wohnung gefunden hat.
