Show HN: 'Safari-Like' 2-finger nav gesture for IntelliJ (Java Swing) on macOS

A 6-year-old in Brazil narrated a cartoon using words AND her whole body.
When she couldn't find the right word, her hands stepped in. Researchers
found gestures can complement or even replace speech.

An illustration from Morris et al.'s book appears in @superlinguo's post at @stronglang about the easily confused "V for Victory" and "up yours" gestures:

Up yours: The gesture that divides America and the UK

Sometimes a gesture can convey a message more satisfactorily than words. Why tell someone to fuck off when you can just give them the finger? We like to think that gestures can transcend language, …

RIP, Desmond Morris. I appreciate how he popularized zoology and ethology, even if his bestsellers – like Naked Ape, Human Zoo, Manwatching, Intimate Behaviour – I found too assured of their generalizations and speculations. This lesser-known, co-authored work on human gesture is fun and interesting, and was probably pioneering in its day (1979)
