Hmpf. Sieht schonmal so aus wie ich's haben will. Aber zu schwergängig. Nicht genau genug. Muss ich wohl doch noch ein drittes Gesenk bauen  

Etwas größere Bohrung und breit genug um die zwei Hülsen am Querband in einem Schritt zu formen, statt auf zwei mal. 95mm statt 35. Drei mal so lange Bohrung, dann muss auch genauer eingemessen werden.

There it is! My own #Gesellenkiste  A miniature #SeaChest, copy of an antique from an extinct shipyard: Howaldtswerke #Hamburg. I believe it's from their apprentice shop. One of many in the course of apprentices becoming journeymen.

Mistakes were made. Lessons were learned. Crimes were hidden, as Adam Savage would say. Just needs finish.

Oh, and hinges. And beckets. #Metalworking and #fancywork! But that will have to wait a bit. Stay tuned, I guess.
