In the early 2000s, in #Belgium 🇧🇪, one could still see loco-hauled services like the one on the photo: an #SNCB #NMBS Class 62 diesel, working a train composed of #M2 type cars. The #Geraardsbergen to #Gent line in western Belgium was one of the places where one could still witness this type of operation.

#Halloween tocht rond de #gavers in #Geraardsbergen, heel mooi, helaas uitgeregend. Nu met 2 bussen vol kletsnatte maar gelukkige kinderen (en hun ouders) op weg naar huis.

Das Transcontinental Race 9 #TCRNo9 taucht langsam am Horizont auf. Lese ich richtig, nehmen 850 Fahrerinnen und Fahrer daran teil. Erster Alpenpass ist der #Splügenpass. Ziel ist #Thesaloniki. Ach ja und gestartet wird natürlich in #Geraardsbergen nahe Brüssel. Los geht es am 23. Juli. #Bicycle #Race
