This new report builds on ILSR's longstanding and excellent case-studies, augmenting them with the work of academic #geographers who are just starting to literally map out the dollar store playbook, identifying the way that a dollar stores will target, say, the last grocery store in a Black neighborhood and literally surround it, like hyenas cornering weakened prey.
