Karkonosz/Krakonoš | Size: A4

Hello and happy new year, guys and gals!

This time I'm coming to You with spirit of the Giant Mountains. Because appearance of Karkonosz changed over years and my weak spot is "Never Ending Story" (don't understand connection in my brain between of the) I've chosen Krakonoše sculpture in Smetanovy sady as inspiration.

I was looking for something to draw, and I found a video from Slavs and Viking Festival on Wolin Island, depicting a wedding. Probably part of event or maybe spontaneous?

Drawing is a bit different because I didn't want to cut legs or heads in half, so I made my own composition this time. First time, actually xD And... because I survived drawing more than one human being, next time I try something more crowded. Maybe battle scene :D

My second one, four attempts later xD It was pretty challenging because of pose, small size (don't know why I'm doing it to myself, it needs to be some form of masochism) and shape of compressed charcoal. I could sharpen it, but my goal for this year is "illusion of detail".
