#Genlisea margaretae

A tight rosette of photosynthetic leaves. Okay, not that strange. Lives in constantly saturated soils. A lot of plants can do that. Produces highly modified leaves that function as lobster pots to capture prey. Now that’s pretty special! Some of them stick down into the soil while others fan out near the surface. You can see a few of the latter type in the second picture.
