@Badgardener I think I detect a wink in your eye ... but for anyone who doesn't know the Irish school system, most schools operate a #TransitionYear after the #JuniorCert exams and before the two-year #LeavingCert course. It includes work placements and a big range of short courses which pupiis choose between.

Today I made the last-laaaaaast step into my gender transition: changed it at work.
The company did a super job ensuring everything went well. People were notified and trained about diversity, and I was put on leave to get a fresh start in a few weeks.

Tip: if you are on #HRT for #GenderTransition, you actually want to lose weight in the first couple months (preferably starting some sort of 3-month diet and light exercise regimen as soon as you schedule the appointment to get the prescription), and continue to get exercise targeting the muscle structure you'd like.
The muscle and fat you lose at the beginning will all be built with your old #hormones, and once your T and E levels are in the target ranges, whatever you gain back will be arranged by your new hormones. You can use both this and targeting muscle groups to push yourself towards the body type you want.
If it's #MTF, do push-ups, lunges, sit-ups, and walking/jogging, to build pecs behind boobs, build glutes behind butt, tighten the core, and tone up everything else. If it's #FTM be sure to lift some weights to build mass outside the core, sit-ups to tighten core, and walking/jogging.
Diet and exercise is always a good idea.
