Last night we were talking with a friend with two kids, ages 7 and 11. The older one had an upcoming birthday party and their mom put together an invitation using AI. That got a big thumbs-down from both kids. "Too AI!" said one. "Microslop!" accused the other.

See? Even kids can tell.

I just told my kids (in a long winded and overly dramatic manner) the story of the supercomputer, Deep Thought. How it was set the monumental task of answering the ultimate question of life, the universe and everything, and that after eons of calculations it finally returned the answer:

Then I asked them....

They lost their goddam shit, and left for school giggling their heads off about it.

Gotta love that the classics can be integrated into #GenAlpha #BrainRot , and it at least enouraged the eldest to briefly consider reading the books 🤣😄
