Here's my 5-rack, in front of an unused Peavey amp, in front of an unused chest of drawers, next to my portable Orange micro amp, and home stereo cabinet with a cheap Celestion in it, next to a couple of ironing boards, with a boom-box modded into an amp, trash bin, step stool and box of candles atop the chest.
I watched a TPS espisode today about rotary cabinet pedals, and it got the sound in my head.
I remembered Greg Koch gets that kind of sound with a Jam chorus pedal, so I set my e/c/f pedal to do that. Fast, shallow modulation, short end of 500ms range, regen and mix at noon.

If you like #UAD #AudioPlugins, they've brought back their 10 for $99 deal from this summer, and the selection to choose from has expanded.
I grabbed a bunch this summer, but now they've added the EL8 Distressor, the FATSOjr/sr, and the Manley Massive Passive EQ, which are some of my favorite bits of hardware to play with that I'll never buy for myself.
I much prefer things that play natively in Linux, but this is still tempting.
#gearsquad - just saw this UAD promotion. I don't know that I need an amp sim because I use Line 6 modeling already, but free is free.

Used a compressor, a Rat, and an old DigiTech Echo/Chorus/Flanger.
Gotta admit, the new Roland super-duper TR drum machine (real analog!) sounds fucking great. Lucky for me, it's MILES out of my price range, so unless one falls off a truck or Roland is desperate for streamers to demo it (LOL), I don't have to think about it too much.
