CMHlthrI'm about to complete Yr3 of #Gear365: my 1 yr challenge (π ) to wear full leather for a part of every day for a year. With each "renewal" I've made my rules stricter. Do I need rules anymore? Fabric feels *so* strange and unpleasant, I can't wait to change. Leather used to feel restrictive, but it's become just how clothes feel; its absence is what's now so hard to cope with. I get ever closer to the maximum of work being the only exception. There's still a way to go. We'll see what Yr4 brings.

Leather Sunday.
I had the pleasure of traveling to Amsterdam for HairyHypnotist's wedding. It was great seeing a few people I already knew and making a few new friends.
Although I chickened out on the way over, I wore full leather on a plane for the first time on the way home. (It's been just a leather shirt/tie/jacket before.) Nobody batted an eye; in fact I got a few compliments.
I haven't in the past because, as an airline employee, we're supposed to "look respectable." I guess this qualified.
Another couple of leather items arrived today. (I had to take advantage of the Mr. Riegilio sale!) I love this dress shirt. It'll be great for the wider variety of occasions I wear leather for these days.
Same with the carpenter pants: for jobs around the house (like yard work) that I wouldn't currently wear leather for because of possible damage. These are meant to be scuffed, with a double layer at the knee. We'll see how they hold up to actual use.
