Jon HyslopFor my last few toots I have been mostly using #UKPolicyCharts to show how inequality has increased over the last 14 years and more. It has become a runaway train. It is cementing itself across generations, and internationally. I'm not sure if either of the two main parties have policies to slow it up, even though both profess to. Still, I live in love, hope and optimism for a better future. #GE2024UK

Jo RhodesAnyone ever done a 'community project bingo card'? Don't think people have any idea how broken the system is and how much social work type stuff small, poorly funded local organisations like us have to do. This week I have spent hours talking with hospital, police, post office and train station staff, council, housing team, GP surgery to track down a missing person and get them the help they need. Hopefully all sorted now .. absolutely none of this is my job but we have the local connections to do it. For those of you wondering where social services fits in, I could not get hold of social services at all.. was on hold for an hour and gave up.
