Garm Series Part 5: I know more about Oh! My Goddess than I do about Digimon. Here, Shiho Sakakibara actually summons Garm, the watchdog of Niflheim (cf. poetic edda). Garm poses a real threat in this scene, and it takes a massive effort on Urd's part to defeat him. Garm Series Part 3: I need help from other fans here. There is supposed to be a Digimon called Garummon, which was allegedly named after Garm from Norse mythology. It can move very quickly and is associated with light(speed). Now I'm wondering whether the mythological Garm was used as a reference, because this info is really contradictory. However, he was made a blacksmith because dwarves are known for their craftsmanship, even in Norse mythology.
