The Latvian peas are first to flower. The Minerva Carlin pea flowers are a little slower to show themselves.

Time to crack on with sowing

Transition Telford

I’ve been a bit quiet on here, mainly due to trying to tame a third of an acre of wild and woolly #NorthYorkshire! In spite of our prime directive to first and foremost clear weeds and start a decent #compost system, I have managed to plant a bit ☺️

I’ve also been having a go at #SeedSaving these #HeritageVegetables, #pumpkins and #WinterSquash. #GardenOrganic’s Heritage Seed Library has been the source of some incredible veg for me over the last few years.

We're off to a composting workshop hosted by @gardenorganic today. At the local community centre. Right next to our wonderful community garden. In #leegomery

It looks a little bare right now, we haven't quite got the hang of winter veg, but in the summertime, its lush!
