We collectively - punks, fuckups, queers, anarchists - have all the skills we need to reject techno-fascism.

We want people to come share their D.I.Y. practices to strengthen the mutual aid networks in place, and hopefully build new ones.

We're putting on a D.I.Y. skill sharing day, with stations and workshops. We'll cover subjects like bike and auto mechanics, DIY air purifiers, FOSS software, plants grafting, vermicompost and more. Schedule available at the door.
We'll have a space to share thoughts on what self-sufficiency actually means to us, and what we can do right now towards it.

The event is PWYC, no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Masks and hand sanitizer will be provided at the door. The venue is wheelchair accessible.

I'm trying to order a book from #Abebooks and am at the stage where I'm asked to "protect my account" by verifying items in arrays of nine pictures. Choose the curtains, the chairs, the suitcases, and so on. I think I've been through six of these and it's not letting me into the account. Abebooks has been helpful and reliable in the past, but this is #garbagetech and shouldn't exist. #fauxsecurity #techfail

@libreleah personally, I dislike #Starlink as it's already being used as an argument to not fund/invest into #FTTB / #FTTH rollouts where necessary and feasible...

Kinda like #VDSL / #Vectoring did until @EUCommission banned @Bundesregierung from subsidizing that #GarbageTech...

@sabi nodds in agreement the fact that they not only.refuse to cite sources but actually provide access to the raw dataset to review it is why only #TechIlliterate #Suits aka. #CxO's in big corporations believe #Gartner and other "#ResearchFirms" because they are as independent from corporations as the #plusXaward is from people wanting to pay fmto get awarded...

In fact, the #ConflictOfInterest of the 4,5 (#Accenture as a division of #ArthurAndersen survived #ENRON aka. The real #Ecorp / #EvilCorp.) #ConsultingFirms is too #sus for me.

But then again I believe #EY should've died like ArthurAndersen when #wirecard collapsed as they've been their #Auditors for the longest and only a extraordinary #Audit by #KPMG did explode in the faces of WireCard shareholders and managers that weren't in on the #fraud.

Gartner is just a means to promote #GarbageIdeas and #GarbageTech to #TechIlliterates in a Board Meeting.
