I'm very proud of my Bishop enemy in my Chess Combat Platformer
It keeps players moving, and organically encourages arial combat
It also makes simple paws more deadly as I have to track threats from the ground and the air
And I added a dash function so you can either jump to avoid the attack or dash (but jumping does give you the chance to counter strike)
