Okay, so my cart dumper arrived yesterday and I used it to attempt dumping the Winsley's Guardian cartridge I bought that I thought was DOA, and it does seem to work when playing off of an Everdrive. It loads REALLY slow, but it doesn't crash with a kernel panic 95% of the time on boot or as soon as I press a movement direction, so at least I'll actually be able to play it–which is nice.
