I was going to do a write-up on how to get a Marriott hotel room for #gally1 but the official website already has a ton of good info:
https://www.gallifreyone.com/reservations/
I have one tip: do a mock search beforehand. Choose your dates and the LAX Marriott. Then when it's time to book for real, you've already got your info saved on the site. Every second counts. Good luck everyone.
ATTN: Doctor Who fans! I'm looking to host a game of Who-themed Family Feud at next year's Gallifrey One (almost certainly an unofficial event). If you are a fan of Doctor Who, please consider clicking the link to fill out the survey and sharing it with others. One response per person, please. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdZ--ZmRPR-E8TzESCC_isRj8po6WOffsyrVbk_jZKmFwOdUQ/viewform?usp=dialog
Yay a nice photo of FiveyKig exists now!
I spent about an hour in the blorbo suit at the con, though I wish it could've been longer
Even though I conscientiously masked throughout #gally1 (including travel there and back), I've got COVID. If you were there, do test!
Reminder (or notification if it's new info): if you're trying to determine if you do have COVID but don't have symptoms, an at-home test only has a 28% chance of identifying it. If you do a second test 48 hours later, that goes up to ~62%. Do test twice! Even if you feel fine!
