Il Tempo: Valditara interviene al Consiglio Nazionale dei Presidenti delle Consulte Provinciali

Giovedì 23 aprile il Ministro dell'Istruzione e del Merito Giuseppe Valditara ha partecipato alla giornata di chiusura dei lavori del Consiglio Nazionale dei Presidenti delle Consulte Provinciali (CNPC), presso l'ITIS “Galileo Galilei” di Roma. 
L'incontro ha rappresentato la fase conclusiva del Consiglio Nazionale dei Presidenti di Consulta, che ha visto i Presidenti delle consulte provinciali degli studenti di tutta Italia riunirsi a Sabaudia (LT) dal 20 al 23 aprile.  
Suddivisi in sei commissioni e supportati dai docenti referenti regionali, i Presidenti delle Consulte hanno presentato al Ministro report e documenti su temi strategici: rappresentanza, educazione civica e digitale, formazione scuola-lavoro, benessere psico-fisico degli studenti, contrasto al bullismo e superamento dei divari territoriali.  
“Per la prima volta gli studenti non sono destinatari di decisioni calate dall'alto, ma protagonisti attivi del cambiamento. Ho voluto, infatti, che le nuove Indicazioni per i Licei venissero inviate formalmente alle Consulte per raccogliere un contributo concreto: la partecipazione non è un esercizio retorico, ma un elemento importante del cambiamento. Anche per questo, premieremo l'impegno civile dei rappresentanti  con riguardo al nuovo esame di maturità", ha dichiarato il Ministro dell'Istruzione e del Merito Giuseppe Valditara.  
In conclusione, il Ministro ha tracciato la rotta per i prossimi mesi, rispondendo alle istanze presentate dai ragazzi su tecnologia e lotta al bullismo: “Stiamo portando l'Intelligenza Artificiale nelle classi come supporto alla didattica e garantiamo il supporto psicologico gratuito per le fasce d'età più a rischio. Abbiamo reso l'educazione all'affettività e al rispetto una priorità e un obiettivo di apprendimento. La scuola ha senso solo se è centrata sulla persona dello studente: oggi, insieme a queste ragazze e a questi ragazzi, dimostriamo concretamente che questa è la strada che fortemente vogliamo”, ha concluso Valditara.

Valditara speaks at the National Council of Provincial Delegate Presidents

On Thursday, April 23rd, Minister of Education and Merit Giuseppe Valditara participated in the closing of the works of the National Council of Presidents of Provincial Consultations (CNPC) at the ITIS “Galileo Galilei” in Rome.

The meeting represented the final phase of the National Council of Presidents of Consultation, which saw the Presidents of the provincial student consultations from all over Italy meeting in Sabaudia (LT) from April 20th to 23rd.

Divided into six commissions and supported by regional reference teachers, the Presidents of the Consultations presented the Minister with reports and documents on strategic topics: representation, civic and digital education, school-work training, students’ psycho-physical well-being, combating bullying and overcoming territorial disparities.

“For the first time, students are not recipients of decisions imposed from above, but active protagonists of change. I wanted the new Guidelines for High Schools to be formally sent to the Consultations to gather a concrete contribution: participation is not a rhetorical exercise, but an important element of change. For this reason, we will reward the civic commitment of the representatives regarding the new maturity exam," stated Minister of Education and Merit Giuseppe Valditara.

In conclusion, the Minister outlined the path for the coming months, responding to the requests made by the students on technology and bullying: “We are bringing Artificial Intelligence into the classrooms as support for teaching and we guarantee free psychological support for the most at-risk age groups. We have made affective and respectful education a priority and a learning objective. School only has meaning if it is centered on the student: today, together with these girls and boys, we concretely demonstrate that this is the path we strongly want,” Valditara concluded.
