Comprei! Por 5 anos utilizei um aparelho da linha S da #Samsung sendo o #GalaxyS10e. Antes dele, comprei em 2015 um top de linha e um aparelho do ano sendo o #GalaxyS5. A cada #5anos troco de celular e dessa vez, comprei esse smartphone e foi o que o dinheiro deu pra comprar. Em #10dias chega em casa

@aki @foone Personally there are various reasons to want real [=physical] #DualSIM, ranging from cheaper #Roaming to wanting to carry ony one device to being able to utilize more than one network for redundancy or having multiple non-#VoIP numbers…

The #GalaxyS5 had #ToolfreeSwappableBatteries, splash resistance and a #HeadphoneJack - Sony even hat proper #waterproof #XperiaZ Smartphones that were literally advertised for making #Selfies in a #SwimmingPool.

And lets be honest:
Anyone like me who takes #Diving serious would not mind having to pay like €50-100+ for a rugged case that'll do 50m seawater if I ever wanted to abuse a smartphone as diving computer.

@SnowBoy @cantences leider hat die @EU_Commission keine Pflicht zur werkzeugfreien Tauschbarkeit von Akkus ohne Ausnahme festgelegt.

Dabei wäre dies machbar - egal ob wasserdicht (Siehe #Samsung #GalaxyS5 oder @Fairphone #FP4 - oder #ATEX-zertifiziert (siehe #Funktel - Geräte)...

#AntiRepairDesign dient nur dazu, Verbraucher abzuzocken (siehe #Apple)...

I just refurbished an old Galaxy S5 smartphone from 2014 running Samsung's Android 6 and upgraded it to Android 11 – thanks to LineageOS! Now, the device runs surprisingly quick 🥳

#GalaxyS5 #LineageOS #Firefox : des soucis en faisant la mise à jour vers LineageOS 17.1...

16.1 : app systèmes désactivées, permissions modifiées, extension via la carte SD.
17.1 :le système de permissions changeant sur la 17.1, problème d'accès en lecture/écriture (plein d'apps qui crashent comme VLC...), une mise à jour OTA qui me fait reboot sans arrêt...

J'ai finalement réinstallé via le recovery la 17.1, mais encore quelques soucis ...(fichiers fantômes, formatage de la carte SD...)

@epical Yes sir, my Samsung #galaxys5 is still in good condition. Same battery since 2014 and never been changed and no bloating of the battery. I dropped several times while biking. (Of course with a protective case). Took videos / photos under water in the pool and river. Now having #lineageos for #microg, the battery last longer. And note, I'm using my gs5 as a #wifi #hotspot for more than 2yrs now. I will not buy an expensive disposable phone! Thank you!
