Für Signal gibt's offenbar eine Lösung (noch nicht selbst probiert):

- signal-cli zur Registrierung und für refresh alle 30 Tage, wahlweise ein Android- oder iOS-device in der Schublade behalten

- slidgnal (Teil von #slidge) als #XMPP-#Gateway und dann ein #Jabber client auf dem Telefon, z.B. #Dino oder #Gajim zum eigentlichen chatten

Wenn ich mal ganz viel Zeit habe, probiere ich es aus.

Jeez, building #poezio from #AUR — be it poezio or poezio-git — is a nightmare of missing dependencies and failing build scripts (at least if you also want the #OMEMO plugin). I guess I will just keep using #gajim for now.

@tuskun @lrvick I like the last part. A unified ecosystem of xmpp apps in different platforms (in terms of UI and UX ) could help bring people to this solution. Wouldnt it be great if #Conversations_im , #monocleschat , #gajim , #monal etc, decided to partner somehow and unify criteria?

Lo ejemplifico con una de las únicas aplicaciones #GTK4 que me veo obligado a usar diariamente, puesto que no hay ninguna tan buena para el protocolo #xmpp proveniente del ecosistema #KDE: #Gajim.
