#gajim thinks it's important enough to block sleep and shutdown

InhibitorsMax=0 begs to differ. i shouldn't have to do that but systemd leave me no option 'if your system won't shut down it's an app problem' yada yada, their usual response

Per-purpose Inhibitors is a good idea & better than just disabling that pile of garbage · Issue #40251 · systemd/systemd

Now #jabberEl 0.10.3 (the one with #OMEMO etc.) is in #Debian #experimental. If everything goes well, an upload to #unstable will follow soon.

#Jabber.el is living #XMPP and #freeSoftware #history, just like #Gajim by @gajim. Both started around the same time. The initial commit of Gajim was 2003-10-22, while jabber.els was 2003-12-15.

#Emacs, of course, goes back to the early 1980s.

@thanosapollo

Junge, junge. Nett!

Hatte schon schlimmstes befürchtet.

#Gajim #xmpp #jabber

To all the #xmpp client #developer !
How do you test your software with other clients?
I talk about #end2endtests.

How do you test that #gajim work well with #monal and #astrachat for example??
At least for those you try to implement the #modernxmpp recommandations ( https://docs.modernxmpp.org/ )

@deusfigendi
Moin!

XMPP Invitation

@andybalaam I disagree, because "truly end-to-end encrypted, decentralized & federated messaging" has been done at leadt trice befire #Matrix came along:

Like I've been in #PGP-encrypted #MailingLists before Matrix and @signalapp were even proposed!

> I sent you an OMEMO encrypted message but your client doesn’t seem to support that. Find more information on https://conversations.im/omemo

E no #Gajim fica:
