Un monstre ailé au regard mortel sème la mort et la panique dans Tokyo. Un mystérieux oiseau s'échappe d'un porte-avions américain échoué dans la baie de Tokyo. DiegoFiquei curioso para assistir este. Quando vi o nome "Onoda", logo lembrei da menção dele no livro "A sutil arte de ligar o f*da-se (Mark Manson). Supostamente, trata-se de um segundo-tenente japonês que foi enviado em missão às Filipinas em 1944; os estadunidenses chegaram na ilha e eliminaram a maioria dos soldados japoneses. Os remanescentes começaram a usar táticas de guerrilha. Mas não souberam da rendição do Japão em 1945 e continuaram embrenhados na floresta. Onoda teria sido o último sobrevivente a não se render entre estes militares e foi encontrado por um "aventureiro" em 1972. Foram, supostamente, quase 30 anos numa luta quixotesca. O mais louco é que ele morou no Brasil, onde virou pecuarista.

Por mais que essas histórias tenham ares de fanfic, são bem interessantes. Até hoje, me lembro de uma sobre o ataque solitário aos EUA de um piloto japonês em seu hidroavião. A aeronove veio desmontada dentro de um submarino. Depois de emergir, a montou e partiu para atacar uma floresta com bombas incendiárias... Mas havia chovido e não deu em nada. Existe até um livro que conta essa história, chamado "The Fujita Plan".
