My new favourite app on my phone: CleanLinks

You can paste in a link, scan a QR code, or "share" a link from an app and it'll remove all the the tracking parameters.

It'll also resolve redirects to show you the final URL, also cleaned. The latter is especially useful for apps like Reddit that generate tracking URLs without query params. #fuckspez

@davidho @skinnylatte Yes, “NW Natural” is a relatively recent GREENWASHING re-brand of the greenhouse gas company.

I spent an interesting few weeks calling out NW Natural’s paid astroturfers on the r/Eugene subreddit. They were quite insistent about misinforming our community.
