I seem to have lost the plot about pundits and how the world works. I read the daily posting of Mike the Mad Biologist. Have for years. I do not understand why he contiues to link to substack authors. For the most part I refuse to read anything published at "the old nazi bar"™. Installed Kill Yr Substack browser extension the other day so... what the hell I go read a post by Judd Legum about how Coachella performers are funding the MAGA movement. ON SUBSTACK. Do you think his pulling my leg? Wonder what he's doing? Takes one to know one?

I'm old, world has changed... but what passes for punditry these days is messed up. Maybe the scales have fallen from my eyes.

Well, Tara Armstrong is a Nazi.

We always knew she was a racist, but this here clinches it: she’s a full-fledged, card-carrying, dyed-the-wool Nazi.

I know: some of the moderates out there there will balk at this and wring their hands at applying that label because it’s ’too extreme’ or because she didn’t outright quote Nazi ideology, and maybe she just made an awkward comaprison and blah-de-blah-de-blah.

Nope. And here’s why:

I’m not a Nazi, and I don’t hang out with Nazis so I don’t steep myself in Nazi culture and Nazi references. Until recently, when all these goddamn Nazis suddenly started popping out of the woodwork, I had no idea what ‘blood and soil’ meant. Never heard the term before.

Ms. Armstrong certainly knows what it means and the fact that she chose to use that specific phrase shows me who she is and who she associates with.

Tara Armstrong is a goddamn #Nazi.
