The family of a 1-year-old boy killed by police in Mississippi is calling on authorities to release video of the shooting. Officers were responding to a reported shoplifting at a Walmart store in Senatobia, Mississippi, when one of them opened fire on a car leaving the parking lot. Authorities say young Kohen Wiley was killed. The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation says police contend shots were fired as the car drove toward officers. The state agency is investigating. Civil rights attorney Ben Crump told a news conference Monday that authorities should release body and dash camera video that could reveal whether officers were in danger. An MBI spokesperson said the case is a top priority but declined to comment otherwise.
