President Donald Trump has proposed boosting defense spending to $1.5 trillion in his 2027 budget released Friday, the largest such request in decades, reflecting his emphasis on U.S. military investments over domestic programs. The sizable increase for the Pentagon, some 44%, had been telegraphed by the Republican president even before the U.S.-led war against Iran. The president’s plan would also reduce spending on non-defense programs by 10%. The massive document typically highlights an administration’s priorities, but Congress, which handles federal spending issues, is free to reject it and often does.

A beautiful day here for No Kings. One thing I strive to remember is that the heretics and poser of the christo-fascist movement want us to loose our joy, our hope, our sense of beauty in the world. They have no control over me or over the beauty of a sunrise of a bird in flight of a child growing up, of human relationships. When they try to force control over the LGBTQ+ community or over religious freedom, they show their fear and weakness.

This beauty is a Blue Grosbeak, one of the buntings, and most closely related to the Lazuli Bunting. They are common, but not often seen, so a real treat.

Fighting a migraine for the past day has made me somewhat thin-skinned grumpy. I am sick of the f'ing christofascist gopher arguments against voting rights and equality. The turds have no ground on which to stand, and are in my mind committing treason in suggesting anything other than full equality and full rights to vote unhindered. They should be removed from office (or the bench), and prosecuted.

YouTube (A.K.A #google ) is trying to get people's attention away from #trump shitting himself by having their algorithm recommend a story about an Amazon worker shitting themself in public.

The Amazon worker story is sad because we all know how Amazon treats their employees. The Trump story just makes me think the shit is hitting the #EpsteinFiles
