I bought FSD in 2021. HW2.5, then HW3, then 6 weeks in a 2026 loaner with HW4. The hardware improved. The cabin on the 2026 is genuinely better. But the contract has been quietly rewritten.
And FSD still can't handle a stop sign without hesitation.

Tesla just retroactively modified FSD purchase agreements to add 'supervised' language that didn't exist when owners originally signed.
I bought FSD in 2021. The promise was full self-driving. Now the contract says something different and it still can't handle a stop sign without hesitation.

A cominciare dal nome: #FSD, "full self driving" (guida autonoma completa) in realtà è classificato come sistema di guida assistita, in cui il conducente è pienamente responsabile della sua auto.
Secondo #Tesla il sistema è super sicuro, perccatl che, come il nome del sistema, anche i dati su cui la proclamata sicurezza si basa, sono ingannevoli. Come in altri campi, la porta dell'Unione Europea è sempre aperta per i plutocrati USA. Peccato che a rischiare sono i cittadini europei.
Five years in, FSD remains a promising highway assistant that occasionally surprises you — wrapped around a set of quirks that have become very familiar. Hardware 4 didn't change that story. It just told it in a slightly nicer cabin.
