Evaluate the fruit, not just the busyness, of your efforts.

Activity isn’t the same as impact.

We check off tasks—but are they bearing fruit?

Today, pause and ask: Is this fruitful or just busy?

Let's abandon productivity in favour of fruitfulness.

Productivity values quantity.
Fruitfulness values quality.

Productivity is unrelenting.
Fruitfulness is seasonal.

Productivity tries to get as much as possible out of the worker for as little as possible in return.
Fruitfulness views the promotion of the worker's wellbeing as a natural part of the process.

Let it also be noted that the Bible has a lot of good things to say about fruitfulness, but tends to mention productivity only in the context of oppression.
