It’s the spacious leg room that I can use when parked or for changing into gym clothes for a walk in the park or swim shorts for the beach. Having the open space down the floor makes it so much easier to lead an active lifestyle compared to a sardine style center console.

modern cars with front bench seat, maybe like the 2000s era Toyota Avalon where the back of the middle seat could be switched down to have an arm rest + center console.
And I don't even need it to really use the middle seat itself.
It's more about the leg room. When parked, if I just wanna chill for a bit, I can easily stretch out my legs to the right.
So then, even if it's not a bench seat, at least do something give us more cars where the front is like the cybertruck:
Even though it's not a front bench seat, you get the same amount of open space leg room as if it were. I.e., in the cybertruck, the front is completely open space, but it still has a center console. It just doesn't block you off completely. It's open down to the ground.
