Been procrastinating a bit and doing some speed tidying as a break from a big funding application. I was delighted to rediscover my ancient Scrabble box which was a 9th birthday present many, many moons ago. I hadn't seen frogspawn or frog tadpoles in years (at our place in France, it mainly seems to be toads), so was quite pleasantly surprised to find these little creatures in an overflow of a field stream, on the side of the road.
