One day we did the #GoldenCircle tour, taking in #Thingvellir National Park, #Gullfoss falls, some geysers and #Friðheimar tomato farm. Thingvellir is where the North American and European tectonic plates are moving further away. Gullfoss falls are amazing and from there we saw a strange cloud formation over a distant mountain, that even the guide hadn't seen before. After a visit to watch the #Stokkur geyser blow a few times (wow!), we headed for as much tomato soup and bread as you could handle at Friðheimar tomato farm. They even brought over #vegan butter and sour cream for me. Fantastic! They have their own bees there, too, imported from the #Netherlands.
