The #FreeMethodist Church in Southern California has made a statement on the current #immigration events in the US.
"The temptation to remain neutral, to try to please everyone, to avoid “political” issues is strong. But we are Free Methodists. Our heritage is one of bold opposition to injustice."
In response to recent immigration policies, Superintendent Jon Sato reaffirms the Free Methodist commitment to standing with marginalized communities, reminding us that our primary citizenship is in God's borderless kingdom.
This is part of what it means to be #FreeMethodist.
